CANBET Blog is the official journal of CANBET, published at blog.canbet.io. The parent product site is canbet.io. This policy covers the blog only.
What we collect
We collect as little as we need to run a public news site:
- Pages you open, browser type, and a hashed IP used to count unique article reads once per 24 hours.
- Optional analytics if a measurement ID is configured in admin (for example Google Analytics).
- Whatever you type if you contact us through canbet.io.
We do not sell reader lists. We do not ask the blog for payment details. Casino accounts, if any, are handled on canbet.io under that site’s own notices.
Legal bases (Canada)
We process this data to operate the publication, measure reach, keep the site secure, and meet record-keeping duties. Where consent is required for non-essential cookies, we rely on that consent.
How long we keep it
Hashed read logs are kept only as long as needed for analytics. Server logs rotate on a normal hosting cycle. You can ask us to delete a contact email we still hold.
Your choices
Depending on your province you may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. Write via the contact path on canbet.io and name the blog URL you care about.
Children
The blog is written for adults. Gambling content is 18+ or 19+ by province. We do not target minors.
Changes
If this policy changes in a material way, we will update the date on this page and, where required, add a short note on the homepage.
